Is it just me or did DA break sta.sh functionality? A few days ago I could no longer edit descriptions from the stash and it looks like it hasn't been fixed yet. Hopefully this'll get fixed soon. But knowing DA, they'll probably just kill the stash and replace it with something worse that somehow has less features. >_

Today I had my final check-up at the eye doctor. Eyesight is back to normal, though I still need to figure out the root cause behind all of this. Additionally, another check-up has already been scheduled for early next year. As for the cause, I finally found some 20-year-old test results among my documents today which may point me in the right direction. But my GP is going to be away next week, so the earliest I can get an appointment for further tests or referrals is most likely going to be early to mid November. Hey everyone, here is another status update regarding my eye situation: I just got back from another visit to the ophtalmologist, and I have to admit I was unsure what to expect today; the reason for this is that symptoms were flaring up again overnight from Sunday to Monday, accompanied with a small but noticeable decrease in vision. However, it has since then stabilized and fluctuates (within expectations) over the course of the day. Given the high dosage of medication I received, I assumed that a noticeable improvement was be to expected. But the doctor told me that things are actually looking okay for now - there are no more signs of an active inflammation (which is extremely important), intraocular pressure is good and the retina looks fine as well. As a consequence, I am now to slowly reduce the dosage of the remaining medication, with another doctor's visit scheduled three weeks from now. Here's another update on the eye situation: It appears the inflammation is more aggressive so far, as the condition of my left eye worsened over night. It has improved again somewhat since then, but ideally this should not have happened at all considering the medication I'm on. So after visiting both my GP and the eye doctor twice today - for a total of four visits - I have now been prescribed additional, more potent medication. Additionally, there is still the issue of root cause which is yet to be determined. A senior colleague of my eye doctor said that I might have to visit the Charité Hospital in Berlin in order to get a diagnosis... Truth be told, this is not something I am looking forward to. First things first though, as I am scheduled for some blood tests tomorrow morning. My next check-up with the eye doctor is the day after tomorrow (Thursday), by which all of us sincerely hope the conditon will have visibly improved. Just a quick update on my health situation: I was able to visit a doctor today - in my hometown, no less! My suspicion was right regarding the diagnosis, but now I'm all stocked up on the necessary meds so things should be improving from here on out. I also plan on seeing my regular eye doctor on Monday to see if there is need for further adjustments to my medication regimen. tl;dr today was a huge success, all things considered. (:
